200 years old vineyard!
Verdejo is red grape variety with white skin. It produces incredibly deep and complex wines. This is a wine that shows great complexity and depth, from crushed rocks, ripe stone fruits and citrus aromas. The taste is full but never heavy, great acidity and fantastic balance. Enjoy sip after sip!
Esmeralda García has just under 5 hectares of pre-phylloxera vineyards, aged between 140 and 210 years old, to make her range of natural wines, intimate and free, which reflect all the character and landscape of this area. Verdejo from vineyards that are between 140 and 200 years old cituated around 800-850 metres of altitude, planted on calcareous, loamy-sandy soils with great depth.
The harvest is carried out manually. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, they are gently pressed, and after a natural static settling process, the must ferments in stainless steel deposits with native yeasts. When the fermentation ends, the wine is left to stand for 3 months in stainless steel deposits with its fine lees. It is bottled without clarifying nor filtering and with no added sulphites
