Georges Descombes is the unofficial fifth member of the iconic "Gang of Four" that in the '70s started the "Natural wine revolution".
He took over the family winery in 1988 and shifted the farming in an organic direction.
The grapes used for this Morgon wine are hand-harvested in whole clusters and fermented with natural yeasts with the traditional cold semi-carbonic maceration. There is a minimal sulfur addition at bottling. This wine express the terroir at its best showing power, elegance and great longevity.
