This Chenin Blanc is such a joy to drink. There are a multitude of ripe stone fruits, like apricot and peaches, together with nutty yeasty aromas and a fresh herbal undertone. On the mouth is dry, light, balanced and vibrant with an incredible minarality and very juicy to drink.
The history of this Domaine is dated back to 1470. In this area, viticulture is embedded in the history and belongs to the humanistic development. This family owned business worked organic for more than 25 years and their wines reflect the unique terroir and tradition.
This Chenin Blanc is a perfectly south exposed parcel where the white calcareous soil dominates the scene. Although the young age of the vines the wine is showing already the unique soil characteristics. Spontaneous fermentation old 400 l barrels and then aged on its own lees for for 11 months. Bottled with a minimum addition of SO2.
